Privacy Notice
How we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you contact us or visit this site.
This is an English translation provided for your convenience. The Spanish-language version of this notice is the legally binding one.
1. Identity and address of the data controller
Sistemas Tangente del Norte ("Tangente"), based in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico, is responsible for processing your personal data in accordance with Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and its Regulations.
2. Personal data we collect
When you contact us via WhatsApp, email, or any other channel listed on this site, we may collect:
- Identification and contact details: name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number.
- Work-related details: company, role, and generally any information about your operation you choose to share so we can address your request.
We do not request or collect sensitive personal data (ethnic or racial origin, health status, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, among others) through this site.
3. Purposes of processing
Primary purposes (necessary to assist you):
- Responding to your requests for information, quotes, or demos of our solutions.
- Following up on the business or service relationship you establish with us.
- Preparing proposals and, where applicable, providing support for the systems we develop or implement for you.
Secondary purposes (not necessary, but that let us serve you better):
- Sending you information about services that may interest you.
If you don't want your data used for these secondary purposes, you can let us know at any time through the contact channels listed in this notice, without affecting our relationship with you.
4. How we collect your data
We collect your identification and contact details directly, when you voluntarily provide them by writing to us. This site has no forms that store that information in a database of our own.
Automatically, through Google Analytics, we collect aggregated technical and browsing data (such as pages visited, time on site, device type, and traffic source) to understand how the site is used and improve it. This information is not used to identify you individually. We also load fonts from Google Fonts for the site's visual display, which may mean Google receives your IP address under its own privacy policies.
5. Transfer of personal data
We do not transfer your personal data to third parties, except when necessary to fulfill our legal relationship with you (for example, technology infrastructure providers that help us operate) or when required by applicable law. In these cases, we require those third parties to provide the same level of protection for your personal data.
Browsing data collected through Google Analytics is processed by Google LLC as a data processor, solely to generate site usage statistics, in accordance with its own privacy policies.
6. ARCO rights
You have the right to know what personal data we hold about you and how we use it (Access); to request correction of your information if it's outdated, inaccurate, or incomplete (Rectification); to have us delete it from our records when you believe it's not being used in accordance with applicable principles and obligations (Cancellation); and to object to the use of your data for specific purposes (Objection). These are known as ARCO rights.
To exercise them, or to revoke any consent you may have given us, send your request to contacto@tangentemexico.com indicating:
- Your name and contact details.
- Documents that verify your identity.
- A clear description of the personal data you want to exercise your rights over.
- Any other information that helps us locate your data.
We will respond within a maximum of 20 business days, as established by the LFPDPPP.
7. Cookies and tracking technologies
This site uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service from Google LLC, which uses cookies to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site. We do not use these cookies for advertising purposes. You can prevent this data collection by disabling cookies in your browser settings, or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. If we add additional tools of this kind in the future, we will update this notice to inform you in a timely manner.
8. Changes to this privacy notice
We may update this privacy notice to address legislative developments, changes in our practices, or other reasons. Any changes will be available on this same page, along with its update date.
